Just wonder if I need the whole thing.įYI, if I use the old Garritan player, it still won't open the new presets. Can I uninstall or remove any part of the old Garritan player? Seems a bit redundant to have both. Of course, now I have the old Garritan player, the latest Aria player and the latest Aria engine installed. Bob's yer uncle! The CFX library showed up in the Aria player, the ariax presets were accessible in the ensemble section and the 3rd party presets loaded. I then installed the latest Aria player and engine. I installed the 1.010 Garritan player and added the registry entry, pointing to the library. So.I uninstalled everything except the library again. The Aria player couldn't find the CFX library. I then installed the latest Aria engine, v1.961. I had never used the generic Aria and there was a bit of a learning curve, but I figured it out. I downloaded the latest player from the Garritan site and it turned out to be the Aria player v1.959 not a purpose built Garritan UI. So I uninstalled everything except the library. I downloaded some jazz presets, and they would not open using the custom Garritan 1.010 player, even with the latest Aria engine update. I downloaded and installed the full package to be fresh (library, 1.010 player). I hope you are all well, given these trying times.
